I got some major 'putting up' done yesterday, and now the place looks semi-back-to-normal. I had forgotten that most of my framed pictures were stored among my quilts........did you ever realize how junked up you let your home start looking with too many little doo-daddies ! I've been trying to make some of this stuff fit in here, but I actually liked it better without it. It looked so much more 'uncluttered' !
I still don't have a separate bed for the kids, but maybe I'll borrow something while they're here. I'm really getting excited now, after Kelley closing her i.m. yesterday with......."just ___ more days, and we'll be there !" Woo Hoo ! It reminded me of when hubby and I were coming here ourselves a few months ago, and my brother, whom I hadn't seen in 31 years said the same thing ! Thank you, Lord Jesus, for restoring my family !
Speaking of blessings, I don't have to buy a used mower after all. The landlord is fixing up a couple of push-mowers that they have and no longer use (since they bought riding mowers), and they're going to leave one with us for our regular use, and take the other one around from renter to renter at their other properties ! God has blessed us so much with these people !
I'm not getting to sew right now, really, with all the last minute/week details I'm taking care of, but I found several tops and small quilts (among my things that I just got back) that will work for some of my family (new things for which I had never found a home).
Question of the day...........did you ever move and when you got all your things moved in and set up, look around and say......"awwww....it looks just like my old home; I wanted to start fresh !"
