........hey, that's not so bad, this summer ! The challenge was to make a baby quilt from the package of fabric Wanda sent me. I received it on May 20th, and was supposed to be finished in 30 days. Well that was up on June 20th and the kids arrived on June 21st. I had dedicated a little time to preparing for them, so I'm late. But I'M DONE !
I managed to squeeze in a few minutes at the sewing machine, to sew on the bindings, so I could sit and stitch while the kids played.
In fact today was pretty productive over all..........I got clothes bought at the second-hand store, for the kids, and got them washed and on the line. Then the jeep got its bath, leading to the kids playing in the wading pool. Supper's over, the binding's done, and pictures are made with the new memory card in the camera. Not a bad day at all. The place is a wreck, but I decided today that that's not that important. God willing, it'll be clean for a long time after the kids are gone back home !
hey girl that is gorgeous. glad you got the camera fixed, i figured it was just something external--- battery or something. welll i am headed for the lake today BAD ----mowing and helping my hubby in the yard, but the good thing is when i am mowing down by the water i can jump in when i get hot. it has finally cooled off some here. I mailed my retirement paperwork two days ago so i cant back out now

well my grandaughter did not like any of the baby quilts i made for her favorite waitress that is pregnant and informed me it needed to be ballerinas YUK why did i have to let this kid get into my fabric stash like the podka dots there is no changing this hard headed kids mind. so off to the drawing board and make another baby quilt to give away. I gave 3 away last week to our WWII vets are having a reunion next week so i gave them 2 baby quilts and a lap Star to raffle. I am easy HUH!!!
well that is coming to an end, I have so many heritage type quilts to make i gotta get started. sent TJ and Zoe a package yesterday. The extra bag is for seth i forgot to label it
no you did not get anything just the kids figured they needed some distraction
have finally found out when my nights and weekends are on my cell phone company so now i can call you on weekends too many people on my plan to do it during the week they talk toooo much
