New year, new hats !

Well, I tried ! I'm up here at the library and wanted to share a photo of the grandkids wearing their new knitted caps, but this computer won't let me share my photos, (or I just don't know how !) Anyway, I made Zoe the hat with kitty-cat ears, that is in Stitch-n-Bitch, and I made it without the ears for T.J., putting a big pom-pom on top instead..............they both got a big kick out of them, although I made them a bit tall. They can wear them for years !!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are you guys...........? Let me know what you're working on ! I haven't made a sock in FOREVER! I'm knitting a baby blanket for the new baby, Seth, who is due in May, and I used a ripple design that has garter stitch after every change of color. It's in blue, chocolate, medium brown, and beige. I'm going to make a quilt for him using some monkey print flannel that has those colors to it.

Our local Big Lots has novelty yarn again, and I'm going to make myself a hat and maybe a scarf from some ribbon/frilly yarn in black, to match a new herringbone coat I just got. I wanted red, but it was unavailable.

God is blessing my family...........Kelley, Tim, and kids, included..........like nobody's business, so we're all well and happy ! I hope that the same is true for all of you.

Feel free to catch me up on your lives in your comments ! I won't tell a soul............PROMISE !

P.S. I just realized that I forgot to enable comments on my last post........I'M SO SORRY !
PLEASE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>talk to me !

Love you guys !

I have not been knitting lately as the Chinese New Year is around the corner (26 Jan), busy with the preparations and my first year of baking my own CNY cookies.

Well, i hope to be able to get back to the world of knitting soon !

Please take good care of yourself and drop-by more often.

  5. Dotty, it's SO good to hear from you. I'm glad you're doing well. Your knits sound ADORABLE! I'll bet the kids loved the hats! The colors of the blanket sound nice, too!

I'm working on a Hey Teach sweater (knitty pattern) and I think I've knit it three or four times with all the mistakes I've made. :-)

Take care of yourself! We miss you on any sock KAL, but understand!
