This one is called "Five-hour doily" and is in pdf form. I don't know exactly how long it took me, since I started last night and finished today, starting and stopping many times while doing other things. But it was fun and easy.......I had forgotten how much I enjoyed this type of crochet work.
I did a search for different square doily designs, but didn't find any that I liked. Instead, I ran across this one and I just had to give it a try....... I'm glad that I did. My problem is going to be in finding a place to keep the doilies I'm making until they're gift-wrapped. The cats could do a really nice number on them !
It has rained SHEETS AND BUCKETS over the last 24 hours........nevertheless, I've had two visits from Mandy in that time, and got to keep Allysia and Christopher, both, this afternoon. It was really nice........I had just told hubby earlier that what this home needed today was an infusion of children ! Christopher and I played a combined Old Maid/Go Fish game of cards, a little round of Connect Four, and then a few online kids games. Allysia took her bottle, watched our card game quietly, and lay in hubby's lap kicking her legs and smiling at him. Once again, I have to say that we are truly blessed !
