September 19th update

Hello, my favorite peoples !!!! Thanks for all the comments, ....... I knew you'd be excited about my news !

Hubby and I are just doing fantastic. He refuses to wear his teeth much, as he can't figure out how to eat with them, and he doesn't think they can do anything about it. When I go for mine, I'll get him to go too, and we'll get his adjusted. Men just aren't as vain as us gals sometimes.............he may never want to bother,........he says he feels like he has a huge mouthful of something that he just wants out of there !!!!!!!!!

I came up here to the library to check the garage sale listings for our town, and got sidetracked. Mike'll wonder what happened to me again. When I get away from the house, I tend to want to catch up on everything I've missed, all in one outing !

I'm quilting AND knitting, because, yes, Wanda, this weather is absolutely THE BEST ! I started a gorgeous manly pair of socks for Mike out of some of that Chinese sock yarn I have. It's black with a tan strand plied around it, so I made a tan stripe in the ribbing, and am knitting tan heels and toes. Very good looking ! And nice and thick........thicker than the solid color in the Chinese yarn.

Kelley saw the first ultrasound of the baby and apparently it's the size of a dot.........takes after it's Nana..........but she says that Tri-Care ultrasounds you almost every visit, and uses that 3-D one so that she'll be able to see the baby's face. Tim plans on going to every visit WITH her, so she's really stoked !

I just have to go now although I'd love to talk to you guys all day..........I still have laundry to wash and get out onto the clothesline.

Talk to me.........you know what to do !

...dotty...

P.S. I forgot to mention...........Tim DID NOT have to have the surgery after all........they re-examined him and decided that the thing was not torn bad enough to require surgery at this time, and since he had just had surgery in June, it would be better to have more healing time. So, I know that all of the prayers lifted for him are really doing the job that the doctors would have had to do. THANK YOU ALL FOR THAT ! And PRAISE GOD !

  1. Congratulations on the baby news. I had a 4D scan with my now two year old daughter. I would recommend it to anyone. I had it done privately as they don't do those scans on the NHS here in the UK. had a half hour appointment at 27 weeks and got photos and a dvd of Maisey when she was still inside. both my kids and DH was there to see her for the first time.wonderful memory
    All the best Karina

  5. It's fun to see what you've been doing, and to hear about Wanda at the same time. I'm sure she loves her furry shawls!

I'm finally knitting up the yarn I bought the evening we went to the Gourment Yarn Co. Made some nice lace ones for myself with the lilac semi-solid. Am working on a pair for my mom with the navy.

Hope to hear more about what's up with you on your blog soon!
