Yep, that's right..........I finally got my teeth ! ! ! And they look better than anything I've ever had of my own, I can tell you that. White, too ! How about that ! ! ! I still speak kindof funny, and I'm learning to eat very carefully, but I CAN SMILE AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!! (as if being toothless stopped me ! Are you kidding.........my life is too good NOT to smile !)
Thanksgiving Day this year will mark one year to the day since Mike had his stroke, and it has been a year full of God's grace and blessings ! Sometimes I look at him and just admire his stoicism. To think how his life changed.......I mean all of the changes in his body and speech! To go from being just like everyone else, to not being able to find the right word for the simplest things.....even your child or grandchild's name...........it just puts me in awe of him. He has improved physically so much this past year, and his greatest frustration is his speech. His right hand is somewhat improved, although he mostly has just adapted to using the left instead. I love that man so much, and thank God for everyday with him.
This past year has also brought me back into the Church.......God is definitely alive and a part of my everyday life again. I hope that each of you reading this has a real relationship with him and talk to him daily.
Well, I have to run again,........you know, the trick-or-treaters will be coming in a few hours, and Mike sent me after more candy ! So , be well, all of you..........I love you so !

Dotty so glad to hear things are going well. Sounds like life is happy again in OK! Hugs to you both, I think of you often & wonder how life is. HOpe you both have a safe & happy halloween. Can't wait for your next post.
